1. Who you are dealing with

We sell to you. When you place an order, your contract is with Cutting Studio and nobody else. We arrange for the cutting to be done by a workshop — they are our subcontractor, and you have no separate contract with them.

That means one place to complain to. Whatever goes wrong with an order, you take it up with us.

These terms cover buying through the site. Workshops cutting for us are on a separate agreement with us, which sets out what they may do with your design and what they owe us when the work is wrong. Ask and we will tell you what it says.

2. What the service is

You design something flat, choose what it should be cut from, see it nested onto sheets at a price, and buy it. We have it cut and posted to you.

The studio is free to use and needs no account. You need an account to buy.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or over to buy. Keep your email secure — we sign you in with a code sent to it, so whoever reads your email can sign in as you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

4. Your design

It stays yours. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything you upload or draw.

You give us a licence to do exactly what is needed to fulfil your order: store your design, render it, turn it into cutting files, and pass those to the workshop cutting it. Nothing else. We do not use your work as an example, in marketing, or as a template for other customers — if we ever want to, we will ask you first and you are free to say no.

You promise that you have the right to have it cut: that it is yours, or licensed to you, and that cutting it infringes nobody's copyright, trademark or design right. You are responsible for that, not us. We do not check uploads for infringement, and we cannot advise you on whether a design is clear. If a rights holder comes to us about something you ordered, we may pass on what we have to and you agree to cover us for what that costs.

We will refuse anything unlawful: counterfeits, weapons parts, and anything made to deceive or to impersonate a real person or business.

Your design lives in your browser until you buy. Clear your browser data and it is gone — we have no copy and cannot restore it.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the workshop's currency, and a basket can only be paid for in one currency at a time.

Every price you see includes Danish VAT at 25% — the sheets, the cutting and the carriage alike. There is nothing added at the end: the total in the basket is what is charged, and the receipt Stripe raises shows how much of it was tax.

Payment is taken through Stripe when you check out. Your order is not confirmed until Stripe tells us the payment has gone through — the page you land on after paying is not confirmation on its own.

Prices can change, but never for an order already paid for.

6. Cancelling, and your right of withdrawal

Because everything is cut to your own design, these are custom-made goods. Under section 18(2)(3) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act — implementing article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive — the usual 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specification.

We go further than the law requires:

Confirming your order at checkout is where you acknowledge this. We will not begin cutting before you have.

None of this affects your rights when something is wrong — see below.

7. When something is wrong

You have two years under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) if what arrives is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. Tell us within a reasonable time of noticing — within two months always counts — and we will repair it, replace it, reduce the price or refund you.

That covers our mistakes, not yours. A design that cuts exactly as drawn but turns out to be the wrong size, or to have a typo, is not a fault. Check the measurements and the layout before you buy; the studio shows you both.

If we cannot fulfil an order — a material goes out of stock, or no workshop can take it — we will tell you and refund you in full.

8. Delivery

We deliver within Denmark only. The checkout will not take an address anywhere else, and there is no way to order to one.

We post to the address or pick-up shop you choose at checkout, with the carrier you pick. Carriage is quoted live for your parcel; the price you see is the price you pay.

Delivery times are estimates from the carrier, not promises from us. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over to you or to someone you have named.

Get the address right — we cannot redirect a parcel once it is booked, and a delivery that fails because the address was wrong is not something we can refund.

9. What we do not promise

The studio's pricing, nesting and 3D preview are as accurate as we can make them, but they are a model of a physical process. Small variation in cut tolerance, edge finish, colour and grain is normal and is not a fault. Materials are natural or manufactured things and vary between batches.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Our liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Danish law — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data.

11. Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, uses the service unlawfully, or does not pay. Orders already paid for are still fulfilled.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one you agreed to when you placed it — a later change never reaches backwards. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect.

13. Law and disputes

Danish law governs these terms, and Danish courts have jurisdiction. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in your own country's courts.

Before going to court, you can complain to us at cutting-studio@prozense.com. If we cannot settle it, you can take it to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg — naevneneshus.dk — or use the European Commission's ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
